The End Of Our Rope

‘You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and His rule.’ Matthew 5:3 (The Message)

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt throughout the whole time that The Cross & The Switchblade Musical Project has been a part of my life, it’s this – apart from Him I can do nothing.

It is only as I listen closely to His direction that I can begin to see the unfolding of the dream. He is the director of my footsteps – and it’s my responsibility to listen and to obey His every directive.

I have a simplistic faith. Throughout the years, I have often found myself singing to my children the tune ‘Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so.’ That song exemplifies my life, and it has then been my responsibility to share that love with those whom I come in contact with as I continue to get on with what I have been called to do.

This life then is built upon the same foundation of love and obedience that David Wilkerson embarked upon many decades ago which is still yielding good fruit amongst the generations and the nations.

The blessing is on obedience and often begins when we reach the end of our rope.

Love God. Love people.
